Coal India Ltd Receives LOA from Telangana Power Generation Corporation for 750 MWh BESS Plant

Coal India Limited (CIL) has received a Letter of Award (LOA) from Telangana Power Generation Corporation Limited for Setting up of 750 MWh (187.5 MW for 4 hours) Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) Plant at Choutuppal. The project cost is estimated at Rs. 1057.09 Cr. CIL is required to submit necessary documents within 15 days and sign the BESPA. The project is expected to be completed within 18 months from the signing of BESPA.
