Central Government Nominates Mr Thomas Mathew as RBI Nominee Director on Indian Overseas Bank Board

In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (c) of sub-section (3) of section 9 of the Banking Companies (Acquisition and Transfer of Undertakings) Act, 1970, the Central Government has nominated Mr. Thomas Mathew, Principal Chief General Manager (Retired), Reserve Bank of India as Director on the Board of Indian Overseas Bank. This change is in place of Ms. Sonali Sengupta with immediate effect and until further orders.
