NTPC Group adds 87.50 MW solar capacity via NGEL subsidiary

NTPC Ltd's subsidiary, NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL), announced the declaration of Commercial Operation Date (COD) for 87.50 MW of solar capacity. This capacity is part of a larger 150 MW solar project located in Rajasthan, developed by Project Eleven Renewable Power Private Limited, a step-down subsidiary of NGEL's joint venture. The COD is effective from April 19, 2026. This addition increases the NTPC Group's total installed capacity to 89,615 MW and commercial capacity to 88,535 MW. For the NGEL Group, its total installed capacity will rise to 10,363.90 MW.
