Uniparts India: ₹25.8 Cr tax demand deleted by IT Dept

Uniparts India Ltd announced that the Assistant Commissioner of Income Tax, New Delhi, has issued a rectification order for the assessment year 2024-25. This order, passed under Section 154 read with Section 143(3) of the Income Tax Act, 1961, has resulted in the full deletion of a tax demand amounting to ₹25,79,86,410/-. This update follows a previous intimation dated February 12, 2026, regarding the litigation. The company received the rectification order on April 17, 2026, effectively resolving a significant tax liability.
