Bharat Road Network Chairman & Independent Director Prof. Santanu Ray Passes Away

Bharat Road Network Ltd announced the sudden and untimely demise of Prof. Santanu Ray, Chairman of the Board and Independent Director, on April 18, 2026. Consequent to his passing, he has ceased to hold his positions as Chairman of the Audit Committee and Member of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee, effective immediately. Prof. Ray had been associated with the company as a Non-Executive Independent Director since July 30, 2019, and was serving his second term until July 29, 2029. The company expressed deep sadness, acknowledging his invaluable contributions and terming his loss as irreparable.
