Marico Appoints Girish Paranjpe as Independent Director

Marico Ltd has appointed Mr. Girish Paranjpe (DIN: 02172725) as an Additional Director in the capacity of Independent Director for a term of 5 consecutive years from June 1, 2026, to May 31, 2031. The appointment is based on the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee and is subject to shareholder approval via postal ballot. Mr. Paranjpe is not related to any of the company's directors and is not debarred from holding the office of Director. He has over 35 years of experience and was previously Joint-CEO of Wipro's IT business and is currently Non-Executive Independent Chairman of Mphasis Limited.
